Course Objective:
Course focuses on organizational objectives to include improved performance, competitive advantage, innovation, the sharing of lessons learned, integration and continuous improvement in your organization.  Learn to manage “knowledge” as a strategic asset and focus on encouraging the sharing of knowledge.  An effective KM plan can help both individuals and groups to share valuable organizational insights, reduce redundant work, avoid reinventing the wheel per se, reduce training time for new employees, retain intellectual capital as employee’s turnover in an organization, and to adapt to changing environments and markets.

This course earns 14 PDUs.

Target Student:
Project Management, HR, IT and management involved in company directions and/or strategy. Depending on your organization, KM functions are associated with different departments.  It may be combined with Quality, Sales, HR, Innovation, Operations, etc.
