Course Description
This course earns 4 PDU’s.
Effective communication is the lifeblood of every organization. Without it, you can say goodbye to aspirations of capable leadership, teamwork, customer service – or even the ability to execute a coherent business strategy.
Communication Styles will help participants identify personal communication style, and help employees and managers improve interpersonal skills, understand communication behavior, and manage relationships.
Effective communication skills start with an understanding of personal communication style. The class offers a practical and easy-to-use “language” for understanding and managing communication behavior. Part of the class is a structured training assessment that quickly and accurately identifies a preference for one of four communication styles: Direct, Spirited, Considerate or Systemic. By use of a management development tool, employees and managers can better anticipate how their communication style affects others, interpret the communication behavior of others, improve their people skills, and learn how to respond appropriately in any situation both inside and outside of the corporation .
Delivery Method
Instructor led, group-paced, classroom-delivery with self assessment exercises and group activities.
